1. Students may choose to work alone or with a partner. No more that 2 people per project. 2. Choose an experiment to video. You must choose off of Dr. Fowler’s list. Directions for your experiment will be given to you. 3. Practice the experiment at least 2 times before videotaping it. The materials you will need are available in the BEST Gathering Room. See Mr. Bonner or a Grad Assistant to get your materials. 4. Videotape the experiment on designated day in BEST room. Videotaping will be done on Wednesday, March 9, from 2 until 5 and on Thursday, March 10, from 2 until 5, in the BEST Gathering Room or outside. 5. Record narration using microphone and computer. Recording will be done on Wednesday, March 16, from 2 until 6 and on Thursday, March 17, from 2 until 5 in the BEST Gathering Room. 5. Use Windows Movie Maker or another video/audio editor like Jaycut, MovieMasher, or Eyespot. Be sure to add titles and names of partners and combine video and audio into a complete product suitable for viewing by pre-service and in-service teachers. 6. Complete video and save to external hard drive. The external hard drive is available in the BEST Office. The videos must be loaded to the external hard drive by 5:00 pm Monday, March 21.
